Professional Open-Source Metronome

TICK is a self-contained metronome. It runs almost anywhere. It runs as a plug-in, it runs on your phone. Everything is self-contained so your metronome sounds (and your bpm/time-signature) can go wherever you go.

TICK has been used on stage for a while now. It was actually made for that need where some DAWs won't support custom routing or sounds for their internal metronome.

You choose exactly how your metronome sounds. Including ability to do basic edits within TICK. Import your own metronome sounds, trim to perfection and set their levels. all within TICK.

TICK is self-contained. As a plug-in, your audio samples are saved within the preset that is part of your audio session/project. As an app, you can import/export your presets across devices.

TICK runs on Mac, Windows, iOS and Android. Linux (including ARM) is right about the corner. It's also a first-class audio plug-in supporting AAX, Audio Unit, VST2 & VST3 (AUv3 to follow).

Low-Pass Filter

When tracking, a harsh metronome sound can easily bleed. It's very common to filter it. TICK already comes with a simple Low-Pass Filter so you can start tracking quicker.

More to come

Since I do this in my spare time, There are many more features to come such as Ableton Link, Drag & Drop and more ideas (and even more unique ones...).
